Oil Tanned Boots

Oil Tanned boots are boots that have had oils put into them during the tanning process. These boots do not generally get polished. These boots are soft with a matte finish.

  1. Clean the boot the same way as polished boots
  2. Use your hands and apply the oil to the boot. (This process does not take as long as when you polish boots so take your time and get into the process. Think of the person who inside the boot. Comments from the boot wearer are generally that it feels so good)
  3. Brush the boot to give the customer a different sensation. This helps get the oil down into the boot too. NOTE: Use only a brush for Oil. Do not use a brush that you have used on polish
  4. Wipe boot down with a lint free cloth to remove any excess oil
